Today basically, I just worked and then we met up with Laine in the afternoon. We picked Bangkok Garden, a restaurant just around the corner because it had mediocre reviews on TripAdvisor. It turned out to be really great (if expensive).
We went to bed really early zzzz.
By the way, we got a great deal from Hotels.com for our hotel, BTW. Props to my employee discount once again!

Also hab ich ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada navnavPut it in the books - July the fourteenth 2009 James actually got stuff sorted.
The interview went well, and they have sceduled a training day for me now. I have a load of spraff to learn for them to prove that I'm capable of bullying people into giving money to the sick kids foundation. Needless to say - I'm very chuffed. Even if I don't make it past the evaluation day, it's about $350 I'll have earned just from the evaluation ...
... with all kinds of bags everywhere and trying to find a washroom. I had to pee so bad, I even contemplated like, doing it in the U of T parking lot somewhere. Seriously.
Finally, I found the familiar Pizza Pizza on Bloor St. (remember Shylo???), did what I had to do there, and then found Eduardo. He had just gotten home 10 minutes earlier, so it was perfect timing.
We chatted for a bit, and then I drifted right to sleep.
... people! Only in China, right? I wondered how the big, tall white guy at the back of the bus possibly managed to fit into one of these things. Anyway, the bus departed and we got to endure chain smoking (of course) staff at the front of the bus all night, a driver who seemed to like to make the bus lurch, and numerous stops for pee breaks. I also always seem to be located right next to carsick people who throw up on buses and this time was no different. The woman next to me spent ...

This time, the whole flight could not depart and had to wait for me; Cheryl Lee and I were blocked from boarding and had to return to security for clearance. I had severely warned my daughter not to try any passes at crossing cell phone, any computer devices or anything listed illegal down there, Cuba is no laughing matter. So once we were refused embarkation, I sternly look at Cheryl Lee for ...
... bridge, which is the longest wooded covered bridge. After more driving, we camped on the west side of Quebec City at a spectacular campground. ok... we were really crammed in, but there was a pond and beach in the middle of the park with slides. There was also a whole pile of other features, including pool, rec hall and a golf course. Since we gained an hour, the kids had a chance to play in the pond. There we had the unofficial ...

Of particular note to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and citizens of Toronto is the fact that these performances are a promise fulfilled. Scheduled as part of the 2003 Eastern United States tour, a Toronto performance was cancelled due to a SARS outbreak. In the intervening years, Roy Thomson Hall was acoustically renovated. The result was very much appreciated by ...
... homies cruising for the ladies" traffic jam. For example, it usually only cost me $4.50 to cab back to the hostel from Bourbon Street but on this night it was over $10. It was a fine party though and it was helped along by the fact I found a place that sells those giant daiquiris for only $7. The key is to cross the "lavender line" (which is St.Anne Street) into the gay bar area of the Quarter. What made this evening really unusual, for me that is, was the fact that ...
