        Today we had a shower,got dressed and went to get some cash out at dunkin doughnuts,then we went to get some tickets to go to the top of the rock building.the line was pretty short but it had airport like security,like the ferry we jumped in the elevator and headed up 67 story's then had to walk up to the last two floors and it was breath taking,the view was excellent and you could see most of New York! It was freezing cold up there with the winds blowing straight over ...

        Happy New Year from NYC! After hearing from several local New Yorkers that being in Times Square for New Years is overrated given that: you have to line-up at 3pm to get in and they then close it off at 6pm meaning you can't get in or out until after midnight, and there is no food, drinks or toilets ...

        ... going down the road. We shall see. Today was a long day driving. The countryside was beautiful and beautiful old stone homes in the forest were visible from time to time. The leaves were bright and beautiful is some areas and in others it looked like the prom was over and the colorful prom dress lay in a heap on the grown. We went through Rhode Island and Connecticut and finished in New York at Camp Gateway on Jamaica Bay.
