... drive did seem a little bit daunting. We set off early and drove through the Western Cape, Northen Cape, Karoo and Free State. The scenery was magnificent and totally "Africa", as you would expect. The roads were pretty clear of other cars and so were able to fully enjoy the scenery on our long drive. The only annoying thing was the amount of roadblocks due to road maintenance. This must have added an additional 2 hours onto our journey.

A few more days..............
... took about 5 mins! Had a lovely dinner though (cheese and crackers, homemade French onion soup, chicken tagine and strawberries dipped in chocolate sauce for dessert!) and snuggled up to the fire as it's suddenly gotten cold here - 4' overnight. Last hello from South africa
... a dirt look, she looked at me like 'she isn't normally like this'!! So what your telling me she is a little angel apart for a freak two hours she is on an aeroplane! ehhh?
So that's it! waiting for my flight now and then off to London from there is is a short flight to Dublin and then drive up to Belfast. I do have a 5 hour lay over in LHR so you may get a rant from me then but hopefully not!
