... a prelude to my grandmother's 80th birthday party in Bellingham, Washington.

That's correct. From August 1st-3rd/4th the Brandt family took over the Crystalis Inn and we celebrated Beverly Brandt's(my grandmother) 80th. But before I get to that I want to mention that Amanda, Becca and I spend a few days in Seattle before the reunion and had a sister trip. I'm currently in Sydney but I am going to do a blog for each stop I need to catch up on so they can be added to the map :)

Love,

These last three weeks home with my family and friends have been a blessing and filled with everything from ...

... It's been both a positive and a negative in her leaving first. I've missed her at home, but I'm getting a lot of useful tips and insights from her already, like using this blog site!
I leave for the airport tomorrow at 9 p.m. for what will be 24 hours of traveling, confusion, and some long layovers! But you will hear more about that as everything starts falling into place tomorrow. As of right now, vaya con Dios!
