And so after a long flight - 12+ hours - we arrived in Paris, grabbed a quick drink and then on to Birmingham. Unfortunately, Pat's suitcase decided to stop off in Paris but will hopefully be delivered tomorrow! Back to a sunny UK, with a temperature not much cooler than Hanoi yesterday, where the blossom is in full swing. Lots of memories of a lovely holiday. ...

He had an owl called Izzy – pronounced "Is he" a boy? -Get it? The man called Izzy a barn owl because it usually stays in barns, a ghost owl because it flies and hunts silently and the love owl because the shape of ...

... home after Dave Randall collected him from Bristol (flight delayed) at midnight. Terrible sleep but up Monday morning, and school run starts again. Vicky is subject to the chaos that is our life as parents, running around with children yelling "I can't find ..." "Where's .....?" "Why?" And all the other joyous joys of school mornings. Vicky got a real treat!!! Hopefully we haven't put her off having children. Great weekend at home (for me), the weather has been a real ...
