The senior moment(s) lasted well and I suppose we could claim it was restful.

More rainy deluges through the night and the morning TV offered no respite from the inbound fronts! A casual "We could cut our losses and go home" was swiftly agreed on and after a remnants' breakfast we packed with unrecognisable fervour, ready to hit the rain-sodden road as quickly as possible. Now we were driven by the urgency of avoiding Friday night motorway chaos!

... a mortgage and imminent wedding proposals. It was pretty strange, we had dinner and then went down to the canal and ate ice cream. It was beautifully calm, despite intermittent lightning, but it was pretty serene, watching the boats drift by, and couples sitting underneath the trees. We found a bar for last drinks and Helen and I were the only people dancing in the bar, but we didn't mind! All too soon the rain set in, and we popped home to recover.

... and given a series of challenges to complete. The first challenge was 30 pictures from famous movie scenes with the human features removed from them (so, you could see the clothes, but no faces, hands, etc.). My team (Team Smith) won that challenge with a score of 24! The next challenge was rhebus puzzles, which we only just passed with a score of 10/18.
