We have had a wonderful time in Hurley and it is a little bitter sweet as we pack up to leave. It has been wonderful to be close to family for some more visits--including a great Thanksgiving dinner. We have enjoyed our time with new friends and the time on the farm too. What a treat is has been to live here for a moment, learning some of Kevin's family history and making new memories in this special place. ...

... a moving van so she can head to Florida. We have been enjoying the local farmer's market, the amazing fall apples (so many flavors!) and the peace and quiet.
We also are spending some time digging through the treasures stashed away
over the past half century by Kevin's Grandpa. He was a collector of
useful things and there is a whole workshop and barn full of nifty
artifacts to be rediscovered.
