... though Ro was freezing, we laid down in the middle of the street near my house and watched the stars. I think I counted about 7-8 amazing "shooting stars". I was so happy. The next day it was time to go. So Ro woke me up and said bye as she was heading up the mountain. I slept a little more before packing. I had done a bit of it but I did leave a fair bit to the last minute. Once I was packed, I got fuel for my car, picked up Bede, and Kyle and Kelly met me at mine to take my car. They ...

... lots of questions about Australia. Our next travel plans had been to stay at Williams Lake but we arrived mid morning and decided to keep travelling and make it to Cache Creek. We reached there about 1pm but we couldn't find the RV park we were looking for. We drove through the town and back again before deciding to keep driving and find something on the way. ... breakfast for us before we depart for Whistler. Following a very winding road through Lillooet it takes us some time to arrive at Whistler. Lots of photo stops along this picturesque route. Whistler proves to be quite a busy town particularly since there is a mountain bike event happening this week. Lots of shops, restaurants, accommodation and what seems to be an infinite number of chairlifts. This must be something in ...

... for an active holiday, which I made me very happy. I'm not one to laze at a beach on holiday I like to get out and do things, and with these options I feel like I was able to make the most of the experience.

The final things I wish to mention about the tour was that we saw many, many bears. As we were in National Parks this was not surprising. There are people in Calgary who are Canadian and they have never seen bears, so I'm happy that this is something I can say I've seen.
