Made it as far as Warrenton, Missouri on day 2. As you can see by the picture, Braddock has become a lapdog. Nice weather and mostly decent roads so far. Tried a short cut in Western Kentucky, though, where the two-lane highway had bumps and dips and a very narrow bridge over the Mississippi River. Probably won't do that one again. Nebraska ...

... a frozen yogurt. Then on to our hotel, a Quality Inn in Foristell, MO. It's an okay place, no place nearby to eat, though. So we backtracked down the road to Wentzville and ate at Bandana's BBQ. The food was very good, and the price was pretty good, too.

Tomorrow we are headed to Omaha, with a stop in Kansas City at the World War I museum there. More tomorrow....

I fell towards Thorin, who caught me easily in his arms despite his size. When I woke up, I was surrounded by Gandalf, the dwarves and the hobbit. And as they thanked me repeatedly for slaying the dragon, they held out a small vial.
