... riding, great switchbacks, steep fast descents, incredible scenery. Jimbo thinks these mountain roads would be worthy of a Top Gear style "great cycling" award. And we're not the only ones awe-inspired by these mountains - apparently the car chase scenes in the James Bond movie Goldeneye were shot here! (A sign post told us so!) Part way through the decent, we stopped at a shop, where we saw a lot of tourists around. A peek around the corner revealed ...

... could climb around the rocks like a monkey or something. She was always there to get a great shot. After this experience I'm definitely buying the pictures. I should also mention, it has been raining all day, but it was keeping me cool in the walk so it wasn't a problem until I needed to travel with all my stuff to the next place - Gimmelwald. Oh my goodness. So beautiful I can't describe it. At the bus st I started talking to a guy from Vancouver called travis, turned out he'd been staying in my hostel in Interlaken and we'd been to the Canada party too but not seen eachother. Turned ...

... vertical cliffs and lined with waterfalls. It is a small village with a population of only 800!!!

We have an awesome hotel here, under the Staubbach Falls, the Hotel Staubbach. Our room has a balcony that has a view of this huge waterfall (one of the highest free falling water falls in the world). This hotel, like the last, has old wood floors that creek as you walk on them and up the stairs…it is so cozy. Its always warm inside and ...
