Big day today, skiing at the A-Basin, unbelievably - given that today is June 1st!

It was a 2 hour drive from Fort Collins and passed lots of names of places that I am reading about in 'Bury my heart at Wounded Knee'. Think of it as making an annual pilgrimage to Mecca. As things worked out it made sense to schedule the trip in July and oh by the way why not sign-up for the Triple Bypass. I went ...

On the Home Stretch

A travel blog entry by mamasrambler on Apr 09, 2013

It's been a LOONG time since I posted anything, so it's hard to know exactly where to start. Since I last posted in Louisiana, I went to Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Georgia again, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, and now Colorado!!

It's been a pretty incredible trip, which is, of course, an understatement. With one week left, everything I just ...
