Got out of the car park ok. Got on the thruway ok. Then had to go through the toll booths & because of the rain & the number of cars & we were trying to be really careful, we took a wrong turn & ended up heading south towards NY instead of north. At first we were just going to try it and then Emma became determined to get to the other side. The late afternoon light made great lighting but I had trouble with over and under-exposures. I kept recalling some sound installation when I ...

We left Dublin on time this morning and flew over the Atlantic Ocean homeward bound. We thought we would connect with our next plane in Charlotte and be home by about 3:45 pm but, alas, the fates weren't with us. Roanoke was fogged in and after two attempts to land, the plane had to be diverted to nearby Lynchburg and we had to finish the long journey by taxi cab! We got home about 7:00 pm though our bodies thought it was midnight! So after a brief attempt ...
