... to the day. Off to the hotel to check out once they passed us and then time to hit the road. Next stop was oudsthorn or ostrich town. We were going to take the n2 most of the way but then decided the change up the route half way through and hit up the little Karoo (route62) which took us through some dry country. ... icing on the cake was that we hadn’t booked any accommodation as had had no signal so with a few names and addresses we couldn’t find one and the other when we rang the bell, yep reception had closed as it was so late we got them up and they were full for dorms, only private rooms which were twice as much.
