... t see the other shore! We admire the view for several minutes and take some photos. It is important that we show our Alberta friends what lakes and beaches should look like. We then walk along the boardwalk and hope to get onto the pier to take some more pictures but we find that it is closed for upgrades. ... took Highway 3 to Medicine Hat, then hooked on to the TransCanada. At Swift Current (AKA Speedy Creek) we stopped for lunch, and my driving was done for the day. Gump got us an hour past Regina (roughly the half way mark) and we found a roadside motel in Grenfell, Saskatchewan. We had some beer and popcorn in the room while watching Hamilton beat Ottawa.
