... me yawn right now! We’re setting up on a parking lot in Glen Rose which is nice for not getting dirt and mud in the house, but less than stellar for the animals. No grass grazing for them, but they get plenty of food and water to get them through. The tent has to be tethered to semis to hold it up since they can’t drive stakes into the ground. When we left Colorado Springs we did not have the paperwork necessary to get license plates for our new truck or our Redwood 5th wheel. It was something that we were unsure how to handle long distance—but we knew if it was possible, Catrina could get it taken care of. We moved onto Glen Rose, Texas—it feels like such a nice little town. We drove through town and enjoyed seeing the old Downtown area. There are a lot of stone buildings (that we later found out are partially petrified wood). I love seeing the different architecture around the country.

... sparked out. These bike riders don't know how to party properly. They're sat on their touchés all day long, riding on perfectly straight roads, in loverly hot weather with the sun beating down having only had to get up by 04:30 and they are finished by 19:00 daily. At least us Meerkats have staying power - Yaaay!

As there is nothing left to do, I am also going to curl up and dream of tomorrow's open road across Texas. Goodnight ...

It's a Texas tradition! You have to eat at "Waterburger"! Yummy breakfast of pancakes, taquitos, honey chicken biscuits, and chocolate milk.
