Departure Day

As our last day closes everyone is tired, but happy. I'm exhausted. What a wonderful time I have had being here. I definitely want to come back, perhaps to improve my jewelry making techniques or try something new. The family feeling of the farm is what keeps people coming back. More Exploration into Metal Working

I'm told that Friday night is the best part of the week. Everyone from the various classes get to show off their work and the cafeteria/rec room becomes an art gallery. After dinner there is to be an auction of instructor pieces and pieces donated by the students. It sounds like a wonderful way to end a fantastic week.

It starts to come together
... like the beads I've put together, I'm not crazy about the rest of the necklace. I'll have to see what the next class brings. I also make earrings to match the necklace. I'm happy with them.
I get to see what Jen has made. She made a beautiful silver necklace with blue glass beads that she made. Gorgeous. I'm having as much fun watching people create as I am creating. I can see lots of presents for friends and family.
