    ... by the ranger station in town to ask about hiking permits and campgrounds. The ranger told us of several hikes and campgrounds nearby. When we left the ranger station we drove up the mountain to Johnny Creek Campground. We fell in love with the campground and decided to hang out and play in the creek the rest of the day.

    ... Weather was pretty iffy most of the day but was a very scenic route. Stopped at Astoria at the Best Western - good hotel - rate $108 plus $15 for George. Was clean and relatively new. Ate dinner at the Ship Inn which was a good seafood place. Basic and definitely not fine dining but good ...

He did discover my bacon but let me go without any problems. Got as far as Wenatchee around 5:00. Stayed at EconoLodge - very basic - fairly clean but allowed pets and was cheap - $55.00 with only $10 for George.     ... were 20,000 and in the tourist magazine said they have about 8,000. I would believe both numbers as I don’t know what those amounts look like. There were stalls set up throughout the town selling bikie stuff.
