Day 22 - Last day in Rome...Last day of Wandering
... for sure what he said....but it's all a lot to take in! We were pretty happy with the tour, as we never would have found this vantage point on our own...and there were not very many tourists there, which means it is not well advertised as an area where you can see the ruins so well....so it is sort of an undiscovered gem!.....made the entire tour worthwhile for me!

Rome Day 2
... we made it to the Borghese in time for our 11 am reservation, and they finally had a Roma Pass! We've been looking everywhere for those, and everyone says "sorry we're sold out." The finally had them there, which was awesome. They are super useful - free public transportation on the buses and metros, and free entrance to the first two of a bunch of museums/stuff. We used it for the two most expensive things - the Borghese and the Colloseum/Forum.

... the rest of the day. We went to the closest one, a new outdoor outlet mall, ended up me doing more of the shopping.
Sunday we had a lazy start, eventually catching the train into Rome around lunch time. We decided to head towards the Colosseum as a base to look around. A busy city
... second tour I had to leave because I figure if my kidneys get sore then it is time to go! But then I couldn't find them again because there were four different ways to go and I chose the wrong one. Oh well. It was just one of those days.
Luckily however, the tickets were good for 2 days so I went back inside and really looked at it, many find it boring but I just think it's awesome. You get to see underneath the stage area where ...
