... addition, we stopped for some misty photos at Killeen Golf Course, home of the Irish Open.

The landscape today was much like the California north coast--and different in many ways, too. The drive is a 110-mile loop which follows the coast part of the way and then moves inland. The vistas are a combination of peat bogs, sheep farms, houses, resorts, stone ...

... It lead us down a paved road, then a dirt road past some houses and finally into a field. We had to climb over the farmers fence (a ladder was provided) and a sign warned us to mind the cattle-leave only but footprints. It was the most random path but we enjoyed walking through the fields that had the ocean to our left and mountains to our right. We finally came out to the main road that would take us back to town, but we weren't ready so we headed back the way ...

... Wales. We really didn't give this place as much time as we could of. Main highlight - buying a beautiful vase at Waterford Crystal which is on its way to M&D place right now (just add it to the other box's guys - thanks!). Got a major up-sell from the lovely store assistant Mary from a small to large vase. She pointed out that the flowers that Rob would buy me would look so much better in the larger version. Hmmm - deciding this ...
