... downstairs dining room was small but did not seem crowded and was decorated with old pictures animal heads and memorabilia from the late 1800’s.
For our meal Michael had a Buffalo Prime Rib while Val and Jack had the special for the night, a combination Buffalo and Elk tenderloins; all of our meals were delicious, and we had a great conversation with Michael.

... and Karen had both recommended Buffalo Rose for buffalo burgers. We decided to try it. We walked in to Buffalo Rose and much to our surprise it was kind of a dive bar. We put our trust in Shirley and Karen's recommendation and sat down. Well, we both agreed that we had the best buffalo burger we have ever had. YUM!

We then went back to the RV park and saw Nola and Stuart. We all shared our experiences of the day.

I went in to check the prices and you guessed it lots cheaper than NZ also the variety was amazing. Gary bought himself a jersey under $100 and I was just too scared to even start as I knew I would blow the budget. We headed into Denver mid afternoon to try and miss the traffic - wrong. What a place ...

We left Laramie Friday morning heading for Golden CO. We stopped in to visit one of Donna's good high school friends, Liz and her family. Google maps said it was 157 miles and 2 hours 35 minutes via I80 and I25. However I (Tim) decided we should take the road less traveled. We headed south out of Laramie down the west side of the Colorado Rockies. We traveled though Medicine Bow National Forest, then Routt NF, Arapaho NF to Grand Lake, CO where the Scenic Trail Ridge Road ...
