... factory floor; it was a wonderful tour. On the way back to the camper we took a detour west on CO Rt. 119 through the mountains, this was billed as a scenic road, and it was a fantastic drive over the mountains and along canyon walls. Unfortunately we ran into some

My second day started with a couple of short hikes, but then I tackled Trail Ridge Road. The scariest and most exhilarating drive of my entire life. It is the highest continuous paved highway in the U.S.. Much of it is over 2 miles above sea level with a high point of 12,183 ft..
