    I have been to the Shakespeare Festival before but having the Road Scholar classes and meeting the members of the company added immensely to my understanding and enjoyment of the plays. This program focused on three Shakespeare plays, but there are others that cover the more modern works as well. Besides Road Scholar, the OSF has its own educational programs and I'm sure there are others.

    ... while but all we could find were hiking trails, we think the reservoir is long gone. We came the back roads and noticed that there were a lot of cattle and horse ranches and apple and pear orchards (I guess for Harry and David) and of course winery's. It seems like everyone outside of town has gates onto their property. Washed the dirty car for the 3rd time since this campground allowed washing!! Time to get ready for the next ...

    Over the next few weeks we will be installing new tyres on the bikes more of a 60/40 tread and fine tuning our camping equipment....

    ... If that's the case then we must have been at the South Pole, because these trees were covered in moss, and not just around the bases. This was some of the unique environment I had hoped to encounter and I'm glad we made the change to our plan.

    ... laundry and BBQing chicken for lunch. An older guy walked over and chatted with Christian as he cooked. He had a lot of great tips on fishing, making a bee trap, and pressure cooking.
