So we returned to the original plan of driving down Highway 93 to Radium Hot Springs. On the way we stopped off at the Paint Pots which were a series of clay based pools that descended from brown ochre into green int he middle. ... took a small back road back to our campground and saw a lot of neat wildlife. So far we have seen black bears, caribou, elk, a wolf, marmots, and a few squirrel road kills.

We didn't get back to our campground 'till after 1:00 AM because we were looking for wildlife. A great time.
