We spent some time in this little historical town and I must say that it's one of the prettiest towns I have seen so far in South America. Ti was originally founded by the Portuguese but later taken over by the Spanish so has lots of colonial buildings although the Spanish destroyed a lot of the original Portuguese ones which was a shame.

I don't want to come back to Santa Fe ever again. This whole town is a big nightmare. People are unfriendly, drivers reckless and not nice at all, women do not smile at you and don't say thanks when you let them first through the doors or open the doors for fhem, the only hostel in town was the weirdest hostel I have ever been to, all streets are single way and it's impossible to make a U turn, in the rain all town is flooded.
