We had one excursion today, but it is a long one. We did the Tracy Arm Fjord and Glacier Explorer Tour. We saw the South and North Sawyer Glaciers. On the way out we went by Ice Falls one of one two waterfalls in Tracy Arm. ... there for almost two hours. We were able to witness some "calving events" where huge chunks of ice fell off of the glacier into the water. The most amazing part was the sound! It was like thunder. After the ice crashes into the water, the part of the glacier that is exposed for the first time in hundreds of years is the most brilliant shade of azure.
