... me; this is exactly the kind of beach where they would spend the entire day in the water. I definitely want to come back here again and spend a week or two - Esperance is so beautiful and laid back I would love to bring my family here on holiday.

We headed back to the B&B so we could get our stuff ready for tomorrow's departure (we had washed our clothes first thing in the morning and hung them to dry under the house) but they ...

We had to stop at one of the lookouts just to take it all in; Esperance is amazing. I'll leave it until tomorrow's blog to tell you about it but I'll say this; I'm definitely coming back here!

Went to dinner at the Pier Hotel to celebrate Roberts birthday, to find out that it was fully booked out. Had to make do with the Great Western Seasons which also did a great meal. I think everyone in Esperance was at the Hotel tonight and it was only a Thursday. Had chocolate muffins with candles to celebrate birthday boy. Another great ...

... walk and then to drive around 500 kilometres to Esperance, an ambitious plan.

We found the Castle Rock carpark in the Porongurup National Park without too much difficulty. When reading the walk information we began to start thinking this might be quite a challenge.
The walk was a 4.4 kilometre return walk, the last 100 metres involved scrambling over granite boulders and then negotiating a 7 metre ladder. The estimated return time was 2 hours.
