... went off for a natter and a photo op. By 9.30 we were all set up and decided to do a tour of the Nat. Park beaches. It was 37 today, and the heat felt like an invading army. The range of colours of the water is incredible - The full spectrum of colour from shallow and clear, to light green, mid turquoise, dark turquoise, to light blue and finally dark blue around the corner where it is deep. From the rocks, you can turn your head 270 degrees and see the amazing gradual progression through the spectrum. It is just stunning!

Happy New Year from Esperence. We watched the 9pm fireworks held on a boat moored opposite the Esperence esplanade- they were pretty good for a small country town. It wasnt that busy, so we had a great spot and unbelievably we saw several people walking by and not even stopping to look at the display. Weird !
