... This saves around 20-30 minutes of one-side journey but also costs double than bus+train journey. During the bus journey, you’ll find Lake Garda on your left for almost 15 minutes, which is just a treat to watch.

    ... the huge theatre where the lighting & seating were being dismantled but Dick’s legs were complaining loudly so we retreated to the residencia at about 4pm.

    The locals eat dinner after 7.30 but we managed to find a place at 7 & had a good dinner before retiring at 9pm.

    ... that looked nice, but otherwise the city seemed to be dark and covered in graffiti. I decided I would just head back to the area where my hotel was, just few minutes out of the centre and find some food there. What I didn't know was the only restaurant in this are was a steakhouse.     We got a later start due to a restless nights sleep. Nice hotel but noisy neighborhood around it. The weather however was perfect for touring Verona today. After breakfast at the hotel (coffee was strong!!) we set out to cover many of the sights we had seen the day before on our wine tour but did not stop and enjoy.

    ... souvenirs (yes really) near by.

    Again we peeled off for about 45minutes of 'own time' found a coffee shop/tapas bar and decided Verona was quite nice if you came here to enjoy it slowly.

    After about 400+ more KM we were in Padova, again enjoying the Piramidi hotel with its basic rooms and eggs and bread for breakfast. Last transit before the fun trip home the last day.
