... and the structure of towns from that age. It was small but we had good coffee. The only Problem was that we could not find the bus station to go back home. In the end we just stayed at the one and we were lucky, after 10 minutes there was a bus going to Padova. Yeah traffic in italy works a little differently. We found our way back home, and our bikes were waiting for us at the train-station (miracle).

A great morning, with beautiful sunny weather - three loads of washing taking advantage of the sunshine - as much as the line on the balcony could hold, and we had pegs for - and the airer, full to capacity, stationed in front of the wall heater (water/oil filled radiators) to dry over our time in Vicenza - it's a small front loader! Después fuimos enfrente a la Pinacoteca Civica di Palazzo Chiericati, tmb de Palladio, y vimos hermosas pinturas.. algunas la subo abajo.. uno igual sale con ganas de pegarse un tiro porque la mayoría son de períodos trágicos… De ahí caminamos por Vía (adivinen el nombre…) síiiii : Vía Palladio, la principal obviamente hasta el Museo Naturalístico Archeológico, vimos un romano ...
Seriate, Verona, Vicenza
... what was going on with Castelvecchio.
Gelato followed Castelvecchio, which was great, because I love gelato! We were saying in Vicenza for the night, so from Verona we headed there. Doner Kebaps were awaiting us in Vicenza (right across from the hotel!) for only 3,50 euro, so dinner was awesome! And since we spent so little, a few of us headed out to a Scottish Pub - the William Wallace Pub - for beers!

Venice
... nicer, and more fake but more comfortable. Yes Dad, that means you get one when I get home. We turned into the city and started to hear more English than we have in the last 3 days. Everywhere the store owners and waiters are speaking English and all the signs are in English to the point that almost every restaurant has prix-fixe menus just for tourists. A guy in a Yankees hat went up to a waiter and asked where he was. The waiter slyly remarked in Venezia, and I laughed ...
