As I mentioned earlier we decided to stay close to home today, and it was a nice change of pace was a very nice and relaxing day. Spoleto is not a very large place but still big enough to have lots to see and do and as our home base up until today we hadn't actually taken any time to do any real exploring so it was nice today to spend half the day hiking around and seeing some things that we would have regreted missing otherwise.

... exactly where we had inteded to so it worked out very nicely.

We look forward to enjoying a lazy evening after putting away some nice local Lasagne and some tasty desserts from the bakery downstairs to finish things off. Hope everyone is well, Sarah and I certainly are having a blast we are very happy to have been able to come over here for a few days I think it is safe to say that everything has exceeded expectations thus far so that is a very nice feeling.

... lunch in an Irish Pub of all things, we had very Italian meals though so it was all good. We started off with some local cheeses and thinly sliced meats, Sarah had Gnochi as a main course and I had a panini style sandwich although it was a different type of bread, we than finished things off with an espresso.....it wasn't a sissy one either it was the real deal-zing! It was a good idea though because we needed the energy to survive our next stop on tour.
