      ... in for some "hair raising" moments. My learning to drive on a manual has paid dividend so many times. Skills you obviously don't loose as it has been years since I have driven a manual. This dear little Fiat has performed magnificently, taking the "double-shuffles" in its wake!

      Phillip did enjoy the spectacular views and it was a great decision to take that route.

      ... and shoe shop..thinking of the difficulty in transportation. I do wish now, I did at least step inside!!

      The Cathedral is at the highest point on top of this hill and not only oversees the city below, the view of the region is worth the meander. It had been drizzling earlier in the day and hence our wet weather gear was out for the first time. However, it didn't restrict us at all and made the ascent easier as it was cool.

      ... intention. Aldo confirmed that Italy remembers end of First War on 4th November and hence the service.

      Like at home, each child read some lines from a prearranged script, showing their respect and the whole service was over in about twenty minutes. Shaking of hands, Italian kisses for each young school girl, one on each cheek, by Mayor, then they dispersed.

      We just happened to be there, it was lovely.
