  • Took one of the eight nature trails and enjoyed a picnic lunch that Aunt Megan packed for me.

My two favorite activities were the elephant nature park and boating around/swimming in the Khao Sok lake. The elephant nature park was very inspiring. Between nap-based cajoling, we had a chance to check out the new PCC food coop that just opened a 10-minute stroller's pace walk from their house. Erin is a huge promoter of all things natural, organic, and locally grown, and has probably been a member of this coop since childhood. It was nice for the patients but everyone was so spread out and it was hard for the nurses to keep an eye on their patients, especially those at risk of falling. After a yum breakfast at Melinda's Biscotti in Sidney Bunny drove us to the Clipper in Victoria. Surprisingly, it was almost as busy on a Thursday as it had been on the Sunday we came up, and again were glad we booked early as you board in order of booking, and both times we were in the first 50!!
