... ahead of us in time so we should have less of a problem with body adjustment to the new time zone. Besides this being a visit to check off a couple of "must-see location -Machu Picchu and Galapagos Islands" , it represents visited country #76and #77 , as our last visit to South America only took us to Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

When you mention Peru, people immediately think of the Andes mountains and Machu Picchu but it is interesting to note that over 1/2 ...

... had headaches each day which I think is as a result of the pollution in the air. Our flight was only slightly delayed and we were sat relatively close to the front of the plane in Row 9. We were surprised that the plane was smaller than our regular domestic planes back at home. Usually there are 3 seats on each side with an aisle down the middle whereas Virgin Atlantic only had 2 seats on each side ...
