    ... in large old oak casks.

    This was fresher than the 2012 with more noticeable oak on the nose. There was a more firm attack to start with a fuller mid palate good length and a lovely citrus note on the close.

Jon is going on his first dive this morning in Aliwai Shoal, while I am heading to Rondebosch, to Simon and Christies new house and to meet my 4th cousin, 2 week old Finn.     ... a few feet away from a lion! It was scary, yet exciting at the same time. Also, being able to witness the elephants playing with each other was very neat. In this country, I like the fact that the people are very friendly. I did not encounter one single rude person during my stay. I was surprised to see that the buffets for food when it comes to breakfast anyway, have all been similar. They have bacon, eggs, yogurt, fruit, ...

    ... some ice cream while being whipped with the wind and then checked out the gift shop. We had to wait a while for the four South African ladies to return!
    Next we saw the beautiful beach at Camps Bay below the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Maiden's Cove offered a nice view of it and a great spot for photos.
    One thing about today is that it is freakin windy. Like really windy, like 100 km/hr windy, like can barely stand up ...
