... a phone and rang the hotel, but nobody answered. After an hour, an opposition hotel volunteered to try to find the guy who should have been manning the hotel's booth at the airport. ("Now I've helped you, you can help me". "OK, how much?"). The discovered guy then told me he would sent the mini bus which would be there in 10 minutes. After another hour, another guy materialised to tell me that, if I walked out to the carpark I'd find the bus. I did, but didn't find the driver. ...

The bush is fresher and cleaner than some of the facilities we have been to. The road up to the site was deplorable, a dirt road uphill through a village with ruts the size of small creeks, well almost. The houses are built meters from the roads. ... at home, and are fun to eat. You literally eat your plate. The food, different dishes of lentils, cooked veggies (or meats of all kinds if you want), are served in small piles on a large piece of flat, fermented bread (injera). One of the kind servers laughed at us a lot in a good natured way, but did show us how to eat properly.
