... when packing up this morning, he was in one of the leveling blocks underneath the tire. Kids wanted to take him with, of course. Find it interesting that each state has a different "feel" about them, pretty neat! Arrived at Santa Rosa beach state park, very beautiful, and HUMID! Love our campsite. Lots to do around here will be tough to decide, or would be if there were limitless funds. There are definitely some bucks around ...

Sun, fun, surf, and family. Could not have been a better trip. For the adventurous travelers there is a zip line at the boardwalk; also plenty of paddle boarding, boogie boarding, and skim boarding. For the more leisure travelers there are plenty of shops and beautiful white sand beaches to take strolls on and great surf shops with walking distance of any hotel and beach. On top of that more fresh sea food than you could possibly eat. Me being allergic to shell fish ...

We have made it to the sunny state of Florida where we have decided to ditch the whole bike-riding thing and become beach bums, bronzing our skins on the white sand beaches and drinking frilly cocktails with fun little umbrellas in them! Just kiddin'! It is starting to really heat up again though... AND there are white sand beaches, but alas, we've decided to stick to our guns and continue pedaling.

From Baton Rouge, we met up with Theresa ...

... Why is it that over 50% of the restrooms we stop at don't have seat covers or hooks on the door? The bigger the truck, the smaller the man is driving it. There is no Greenbow Alabama. Florida Highway Patrol don't have markings on their cars, just lights in the back window. While driving on a delta, we crossed over a lake, a river, a stream, and another river. Who knew that was possible? Still looking for a Piggly Wiggly to shop at.
