Woke early this morning to the radio. Somehow the radio is set up on an alarm but we can't figure out how to get it off. I got up, turned it off and 10 minutes later it was back on. Heading to Cooperstown baseball hall of fame today and may have to buy a bat for it! The area is all farm country and our neighbors are a field of cows so if it wasn't the radio, it would have been the mooing.

Since our draft is deeper than many Looper boats, we were a bit skeptical of taking this route north, but we did rent a canoe and paddled up and down the swamp for a while. We met up with some of the other Looper boats, however, at the free dock next to the Dismal Swamp Welcome Center. Then, we returned to Coinjock and the 32 oz. prime rib dinner (we shared and had leftovers) offered at the Coinjock ...
