5 minutes walk from Ennis Town centre, 100 meters off the N18 i.e. the Galway Road Ennis, County Clare, Ireland
Today we went to Bremen (Mason, Shawn, Steven, Soth, Dave and I). We took the 9:20 train from Braunschweig but 2 of the guys didn't make that one so we waited in Hannover for an hour for them to catch up on the next train. It was a 2 hour 20 minute total trip which was not bad.
It was raining when we got to Bremen so picture taking was difficult. We didn’t have any plans so I bought a map/book and we wanted to find somewhere to eat lunch. We wandered towards the ...

So after once it hit about 830 and the light was out I packed up and started walking again towards our office in Bremen, it actually was really close. Google Maps had its first bad experience; it made me walk 5 blocks down, 3 blocks up, 3 blocks back to the wrong address. I knew the correct one from an email from Sven. I put this address in and Google maps took me to the wrong place but correct road to I kept walking to the correct address and ...
... his 63rd birthday and were persuaded to a sip or two of whisky with us. His English was, as with all Belgians, very good. Coincidentally he was born in Neerpelt and seemed delighted we had stopped there. Next morning he came over and invited us to join them for coffee and strawberry flan.

On our way here we stopped off in Nienburg and called on Marilys and Gerd for the first time.
What can I say - I really love Germany and this little town is no exception. Actually stayed here a couple of nights mainly to catch up on emails and sleep. This is a cute little town that is most well known for its travelling musicians of Bremen which is a rooster atop the cat atop the dog who is standing on the donkey (apparently they were scaring robbers who invaded their house). They have a statue of this in the centre of town. Aside from this the town is ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany alanna.holloway... is the same, we can all come together on common ground.
interesting to think about when just today our cross cultural mgt professor was talking about divisions in Europe. take for instance the conflict along the Serbian-Croatian border takes it roots from when Christian crusaders sacked Constantinople... nights like tonight serve as proof that with understanding, compassion and a little booze, the world might know peace.
... door otherwise. Things like that here in this building are just nicely well-thought out.
Then we visited the machine shop, which was also really neat. This room is more Home Depot-y, because there was equipment everywhere, imcluding tools and safety gear and cranes, then a setup for testing the robotic arm of an underwater vessel (it was basically a mounted arm, a joystick, and a few empty 1-liter water bottles set up in a crate on the concrete floor, for the arm to pick at). We also ...
... and cutters leave early on Friday afternoon, but one gent came back to get something and the manager persuaded him to do a cutting for us. More nice people; we didn't meet very many of the other kind. The boys made some purchases.
Our only choice to get to Ennis led us through Galway. There was a bad traffic accident in Galway which tied us up in traffic for a long time. We arrived at our B&B, Eden Hill House, just ...

... lose control when you try to bounce the ball. The game was EXTREMELY low scoring, ending in a mind-numbing 0.7 to 0.7 draw, which roughly equates to 60 minutes of shots on goal sailing ridiculously wide of the target. For the record, my team (the ones wearing red/white/green) had the opportunity to steal the win from a free kick after the final whistle. Even though the kicker was the standout for us, he still hooked it and is no doubt still buying drinks for the rest of his team as we speak.
Ennis, Ireland kiemce... I would be driving and Palie in the back seat looking freaked out, tired and trying not to back-seat drive, we took off down pretty road, and funky turn-arounds and about 20 life threatening minutes we were smack dab at the door of our hotel. Cost: $35.00 USD. He would take the tip. I still wonder if it was because I sacred him with my short outbursts of non sense. Warnings and Dangers WHOLLY ****! $12 USD for a proper Cocktail I don't drink beer, and in ...
