    ... behind me. Oh no!

It seems that I had failed to slow down while passing through “Fly Speck, Saskatchewan” (My label). The highway was a divided 4 lane thoroughfare and I didn’t see any town let alone a sign. I had set my cruise control at the posted limit to expressly avoid this situation. Perhaps the audio tape distracted me a bit, but really.......

Joe and I also went to a soccer match to watch Toronto play Portland. Toronto won but it was a fairly even match.

classic slow run towards each other. First off, I showed them the subway, which
my dad was pretty taken with, with fond memories of the London tube. ...

... with only a few moments of turbulence. Upon arrival we got our rental car, which I have to call back and complain about because a minivan is not a compact car!

After seeing if any of the other rental places had something smaller, to no avail, it was off to the Accent Inns hotel about ten minutes away to get some rest before venturing over to the island tomorrow morning and the reunion of Nate Squared. No photos yet but we will be sure to post many of them in the coming days.

... get to Toronto in order to make it to Ottawa before it got too dark.

Toronto reminded me of a less-eclectic Brooklyn or a cleaner Seattle. It is a city where any fashion goes, but on this particular day, everyone was decked out in Canada clothes and Blue Jays jerseys as there was a game playing at the Rogers Center and a Canada Day outdoor celebration on the water. We stopped in to Steam Whistle Brewing Co., located at the back of a quad featuring old train cars and ...
