Finally after a day long of flying from Chicago, Illinois at 1am CST Tuesday we finally landed in Sligo Airport at 6 pm GMT Wednesday evening. ... it looks like it could fall off the cliff anyday. Up the paddock from the library is the manor house called Downhill Castle. Would have been a very snazzy home back then.

Another island recommendation. We lucked out again and as we drove closer to the island, the sky cleared up and we yet again were lucky enough to have another good weather day for island exploring. We didn't stay on the island but only because the hostels were all booked up. If given the choice, we would’ve!
