... like a treat, telling us which bus to hop on and where to hop off, but today our mobile phone wouldn't play the game. Luckily we didn't really need it. A 40 minute bus trip into town, another 40 minutes on the BART as it zoomed at full speed underneath the bay, and then a 10 minute ride on the airport shuttle light rail, all went without a hitch and not much waiting.

I still managed to walk along the sand and had a photo taken for old times sake. It is a shame what gravity, childbirth, good eating and 37 years does to a body!

... turned into a bad head cold and cough which just wouldn't go away. Another reason is that now we are in Hawaii, and we are trying to see and do as much as possible, thus no time to rest.

Back to the beginning, and our arrival in Honolulu 5 days ago.

We had hoped to watch our ship cruise into the Port of Honolulu, and set our alarms early, but the ship had already docked when we awoke. After 18 days at sea, we are finally in a huge port and ...
