... lovely walk. There were a couple there having a candle lit picnic on the beach. Not something you could ever do in Wellington! Not with candles anyway. Then a big orange moon came up. It was very beautiful.
Victoria is a lovely city with loads to see and do... if a bit touristy..
Flowers and colour everywhere
We had a relaxed morning with a wander around to get our bearings ( 3 nights here )
CJ had to take more photos of the hotel...
Not far from the hotel we found a little cafe which made the first latte that I can say I really enjoyed..
... etc and we wanted to enjoy a sea food meal in the town renowned for its fresh sea food. We found the restaurant that was recommended by the server at the hotel. We wandered around had a look around the harbour front then headed back to the room for sleep.
The day started out a bit foggy so we decided that after we had breakfast at the hotel we would hop on the hop on hop off bus. We went and got ready for the bus, it turns out that it only did the full tour ...
... in the distance which happened to be in Washington State, we headed to our next stop, Butchart Gardens. Now Butchart Gardens isn't your run of the mill garden it has to be said. They get over a million visitors a year who come to see this magical garden of Eden. The gardens are well laid out so you can follow a map and see all of the gardens without getting lost or confused.
