I'm on the top of the world... in a Heli whoooooo!
... way along the canyon wall. Great view of the water and the canyon walls. The stream here is also glacially fed but instead of being the usual milky blue it was clear as a clear thing can be.
Many repetitions of "it's so clear!" and "so pretty lah!". Amazing bright yellow lichen covering the tree trunks. We only had time to walk to the lower falls (gives us yet another reason to return to Canada) though even these were spectacular and again, a huge volume ...
Our tour of Victoria and area
... and trying to keep from jumping out of my own skin from excitement of what lies ahead for us! Our laundry is done, our bags are packed and tomorrow we check into Cedarwwood Inn, in Sydney, BC, right across the street from the beach. This motel will let us stay there and will keep our Vamper safe for the 2 months we are out of the country! The next blog should be posted from the Republic of Ireland!

Planes, rental cars, harbor ferry and a garden
... our way to Victoria. Since it is an island, the only with our rental car was ferry. That was rather fun. Both of us spent as much time as possible walking around the boat and seeing the sights. After we got to the island, we made a decision to go to Butchart Garden. That was a great decision. It was a spectacular evening to spend in a wonderful garden.
