    ... lovely walk. There were a couple there having a candle lit picnic on the beach. Not something you could ever do in Wellington! Not with candles anyway. Then a big orange moon came up. It was very beautiful.

  • Wifi here at the Best Western is not very good, so I'll have to add the photos tomorrow...
  • Tomorrow we're going to visit the bug zoo and the Royal BC Museum, plus I need to get the last lot of washing done before we come home. ...

    Victoria is a lovely city with loads to see and do... if a bit touristy..

    We had a relaxed morning with a wander around to get our bearings ( 3 nights here )

    CJ had to take more photos of the hotel...

    Not far from the hotel we found a little cafe which made the first latte that I can say I really enjoyed..

    ... etc and we wanted to enjoy a sea food meal in the town renowned for its fresh sea food. We found the restaurant that was recommended by the server at the hotel. We wandered around had a look around the harbour front then headed back to the room for sleep.

    The day started out a bit foggy so we decided that after we had breakfast at the hotel we would hop on the hop on hop off bus. We went and got ready for the bus, it turns out that it only did the full tour ...

They get over a million visitors a year who come to see this magical garden of Eden. The gardens are well laid out so you can follow a map and see all of the gardens without getting lost or confused.
