... tourists. You can buy fish from the market to feed the seals but we were just happy to watch them frolic about in the water. The most amusing part was when one of them blew water into the face of a young boy, guess he wasn't too pleased that the fish was all gone!

After this it was time to head to the ferry and head back to the mainland. We caught the 5pm ferry which was a little bit later than we had hoped but we killed some time exploring the ...

... as fancied a bit of a thrill and boy did we get it!
Three hours out on the open water in spacemen suits bumping around chasing the chance to see whales. Not only did we catch numerous sightings of the promised Orca, tho so close to the shore we were not permitted to get too close because it miffs off the residents, but then we headed off at speed after reports of hump backs in the area. Wow,wow, wow! ...

... a few hummingbirds and got quite close before they got very territorial and tried to dive bomb us. The park was really nice and with lots of ducks and peacocks hanging around. Lots of people had there dogs so that was nice. They also have a petting zoo but it was closed for the season. We walked for over 2 and a half hours and got some nice photos of the downtown and all the old buildings ...

... people raving about. The long line was testament to how good the food was, some people must have waited almost an hour, as the line only grew longer after we arrived. Sitting along a long bench on stools, overlooking a harbour reflecting the boats and sunset made it the best dining room to eat fish and chips I've ever experienced. I prepared to join another historical walking tour at 7:30 PM, while Janis decided to enjoy a relaxing stroll back to the Inn and read. ...

      ... have two hands
I hope I get the chance to travel the world
But I don't have any plans

Wish that I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life's a game made for everyone
      And love is the prize

So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
      And I didn't know I was lost

      I didn't know I was lost
