      ... winter
trip, and we had a great time, although I think we were a bit unlucky to catch a spell of not such good weather. We have learnt a lot, like the areas which we like best and which places are likely to get consistently dry warm weather. We enjoyed our month away and will probably do it again next year, bur most likely for a bit longer...... !

Leigh used to make and repair stained glass windows, he liked earthquakes because they provided him with work! Theoretically it was supposed to be our shortest trip today, travelling from Kent to Emsworth in Hampshire around ...

It was not long before the Captain announced that there was a problem with the stabilisers but the chief engineer was trying to rectify the fault. About two hours later we successfully sailed out of the harbour. We were also notified that Cafe Bordeaux, one of the alternative dining venues, would not be serving breakfast or lunch until we reached Antigua. The reason for this was ...

Had lobster for dinner, after which we saw the Headliners Theatre Company Singers and Dancers in their beautiful show. This troupe are simply amazing, heart-stopping, and dynamite. After the show, they lined the foyer and we got to meet them and thank them for their efforts.
