Venezia and the wrong pizza
Last night, after discovering that my fabulous bog had disappeared and spending hours catching up with all the blogging, we were late getting out to dinner. The final day at the college

We think we could learn a lot from them (especially self-promotion and marketing) and they could learn a lot from us. We think we have a greater understanding of the theory of teaching and how to cope with time constraints. We handle much larger classes and we have a real community feel at the Music Box. The day of our workshops
... We advised them to arrange sessions where they can perform small sections of what they have written to get feedback from each other and to collaborate whenever possible. Matteo said that he uses English vowel sounds to write his melodies and then writes lyrics in Italian to fit (it's a new one on us). Meeting everyone
... was quite impressed. They were all keen to speak English to me and Martina says she prefers writing songs in English. I asked why they used English numbers and she says that the Italian ones are too long.
