Ab dann ging es etwas gemächlicher zu, erst noch mal kurz eine Runde geknackt und danach galt es lediglich eine entspannte Fahrt nach Gisborne gab es zu bewältigen. we had a hot mineral bath before breakfast which was great and then set off to whakapapa village...a ski resort in the volcanic region here... it was an intersting drive though forestry then up the mountain road past mount tongariro which is a volcano and mount ngauruhoe and mount ruapehu which are active volcanoes and smoking...!!

it was excellent landsscape ...
