... obvious that it was more of industrial/ shipping town. Dover was a strange town with not much to it. We walked around a little bit and explored. Then we headed to the cliffs. They were absolutely beautiful! It was such a fun day. We didn't tour Dover Castle which is kind of a bummer, but we just didn't have time. But it was cool from the outside! Anyways, it was great weekend. Only one more month left, woah..

Shopping day. Chris and Dad started the day off at the Bath Thermal Spa. Both decided to do the welcome package which gave them access to the roof pool, the steam baths and the inside thermal bath. Apparently the spa was brilliant. Of course in approaching the grand stories we know that they are not to be taken at face value but to be opened up and considered at a deeper level. Lawrence Boldt perhaps sums it up best:

'If we approach myth as fact it is clearly ridiculous. ...

    Metallica: 9.45pm on Pyramid Stage
I have seen Metallica before and wasn't convinced but I went along since everyone else was going. They started with a video that was a attack on Green Peace- men were hunting a fox, until they were shot by bears which turned out to be the band dressed up in bear outfits and the fox escaped... was actually quite well done- bet Greenpeace were ****** ...
