    Day 21

    A fond farewell to Justin & Bree - got on the road ~ 9 30am.

    First stop was the Hayward Baker Office at Hanover, Maryland approx. 40 mins from DC.

    It was good to catch up with some familiar faces as Dan Jordan gave me a tour of the office.

    ... of the two remembrance pools and the names listed around told a moving story without the usual American schmaltz. Decided not to go into the Museum - somehow seems a bit bizarre/macabre to pay money to see personal artifacts and such. Afterwards, we walked home along 14th St from Union Station. Note to self - don't do that again. Those maps are pretty deceptive. It's way longer than it looks. Surprise find - pretty much everything Travellers tip - do the Real New York Tour - Dozen ...

    ... Aussie girls from Melbourne. We ended up picking up tickets to the broadway show, Pippin. It didn't start until 8pm so we went to Bare Burger for dinner, I got a giant burger with sweet potato fries. It was incredible!!!
