So tomorrow my adventure begins. I'm leaving at 7:30am January 12, 2015 Eastern Standard Time, and arriving at 5pm January 14, 2015 Auckland Time. I will never see the day January 13, 2015. How weird is that?! It's a long time to be traveling, but it will all be worth it when the wheels hit the tarmac in Auckland. There are so many lovely people to meet and so many incredible places to see!
I'm excited to WWOOF ...
... I had never done that before and it was heart wrenching. It was published in three newspapers (the TC Wretched Eagle, ER News & Lapeer Area View) along with a picture of Bill on the top deck of a Mackinac Island ferry taken during the summer of 2013 before his diagnosis (thank you Phil!). Next, I had to come up with a quote and used the same picture for the memorial card. Then, they gave me photo boards to fill with pictures of Bill's life. ...
This morning we drove the RV from Caledonia to Lake Ann where Steve and Jill and family live. Steve and Jill had a "field trip" planned for the day in the RV. What a fun way to travel with four grandkids and four adults! The grandkids called the RV the moving livingroom as they were able to sit at the table and color, look at books and have snacks. We traveled to Jakes Corn Maze where we picked apples, traveled through ...

Next, the chemotherapy regimen for the rest of Bill's body will resume sometime in the near future. (The chemo does not cross the blood-brain barrier so does not effect his brain.)
