      ... is so uniform and endless that despite being green it is a vast, lonely, desolate stretch of land. Traffic was sparse, roads straight and speeds fast so we did make good time.

      The town of Sturgis a few miles north of Rapid City was interesting as it is the host venue for an annual shindig for bikies.       ... was wrong on every level. We did stop at an outside bar called Side Hack Bar for a Margarita (I was so thirsty and it tasted so good!). Apparently they have pretty good bands and there was a topless girl performing acrobatics on very long curtains. She didn't seem to have any fear of heights or anything else, for that matter.       ... storm looming we headed back to Deadwood with a stop at Black Hills Harley to shelter from the two rain rain fronts that were approaching, with the weather closing in we decided to call it quits for the day. Headed back to Deadwood but we did not make it without yet another drenching.
