So viel zu den typischen Kanadischen Vorurteilen. Vancouver ist immer über Null Grad, und im Okanagan Valley zwischen Vancouver und den Rocky Mountains sieht es sogar im Winter aus wie in der Toskana.
Das habe ich auf meinem Kurztrip in die Rockies zum Schifahren feststellen dürfen.

... 2 Stunden und unzählig geschossenen Fotos der Umgebung sowie den lustigen, auf der Hand landenden Vögeln genannt Whiskey Jack´s machten wir uns für den Abstieg startklar. Teile der Strecke legten wir auf dem Arsch sitzend mit Plastiktüten zurück – was ein Gaudi :-) !
