... for baked goods, and home decor.  We then walked around the gardens, first stopping by the Birds of Prey show that takes play daily. The lady did a great job explaining the different birds and their habits and habitats. We got there 15 minutes in (the whole show is 30 minutes) and got to see two owls and a vulcher.  I guess they must've shown fancier birds like eagles, hawks, and falcons earlier!  The presenter was very animated ...

... around the Sibley Horticulture Center, which had a Mediterranean exhibit as well as a tropical exhibit with huge banana trees! They didn't have much written down, just plaques with names of the plants. I guess since it's a private attraction with high end lodges and golf course, it doesn't have a lot of educational resources geared towards school children? Nashville was a lot different than I expected as a city. I had been told by some people I'd met in Australia, that Memphis wasn't the place to stay and to head to Nashville. The highway driving is easy and most of the interstates vary between 2 and 7 lanes. We arrived in Nashville on dusk and we hadn't booked anywhere to stay.
