Anyway, by the time we arrived at Catania, I had lost most of my hair, gained 5 kgs and had developed a chronic eye twitch.

Most of the sea food was still alive… at one point, a man dropped one of the octopus from his hands. It hit the ground, changed colors, and began moving away. ... from being away from water for so long. (Alright, alright.. only a little over a month..). As I mentioned in a previous post, the Mediterranean sea is much different than the Pacific. It's nearly clear here. You can see all the rocks as if you were looking at it naked. Plus, it doesn't cast a fishy smell like I am used to. In the area I was yesterday, the water was roughly 60- 70 degrees. Not super warm but definitely not Monterey.
