    ... Toronto. It's a Boeing 747 which has two floors in the front of the plane. It takes almost 8 hours to fly from Amsterdam to Toronto. I played my iPad for a long time, but then I got really tired.

    In Toronto we change planes and then we're finally in Winnipeg at 8.30 PM. I've then been travelling for almost 24 hours. My grandpa and grandma are waiting with our van.

The Rhine was in flood as you can see from the photo of the island fortress "Pfalzgrafenstein" in the middle of the river near Kaub - the island, Falkenau, is covered by water. Pfalzgrafenstein was built in the 1300s and functioned as a toll-collecting station that was not to be ignored, as it worked in concert with Gutenfels ...

    ... of long escalators and stairs to move through it! Went to the basilica of the sacred heart...wow massive, and wondered around a bit more! Ran into the Brits I met on New Year's Eve....it really is a small world! Did some ogift shopping for mom...and got Kyle the ugliest beer glass he will ever own- hope it ends up on display in his house!!! Lol!! I finally also had a true crepe!! ...

    ... we brought her a croissant from the bakery. She gave us a tour of
    her Deffletts German made camper. It was a well thought out floor
    plan and we all know how well things are made in Germany.
    It threatened rain again today and it
