So after sleeping in this morning and lunch that I picked up from the corner grocery store that I enjoyed watching the people in the beautiful Grande Place I am now on the train to Amsterdam. It is a 3 hour ride and I am crammed into my seat like a sardine! My bag is too big to fit in the compartments above and the train is full so my bag is in the space between my seat and the seat in front of me ...

... we finally rocked up to Cologne station and much to our amazement (and sheer relief) our train pulled into the track next to our Brussels train… and it was still there! We jumped off the train, and ran onto the next one. Luckily we were only one carriage off and we collapsed into our lovely First Class compartment :) A bit more exciting too, as we boarded, we were overtaken what looked like Amazing Race teams – couples, camera crews and all! ...
