... afterwards and got a coffee to kill some time before we had to head to the bus. Around 14h00 we had to make our way to the bus and say goodbye to Brussels. We had an amazing trip that was so relaxed and easy going. We were never rushed for time which was such a nice feeling. I would love to go back there someday for sure. For those of you that don't know, that means about half the size and weight of American airlines. Clearly, I had purchased the largest possible carry-on; David had a normal-sized backpack, but obviously, that wouldn’t have cut it for me. Seven weeks is a long time, and I have to make sure to at least try ...

... about how heavy it would be to lug around in my backpack).

When it turned so remarkably cold outside that my nose was about to fall off, we headed for the Cantillon Brewery, which is both a museum and working brewery. It features traditional Gueuze, and the self guided tour culminates in sampling of two beers of your choice. My interest in beer production or tasting is remarkably minimal, so I waited for Kim in the cafe/bar area. She had a good time, though:-)
