    ... Houston airport in recent memory. It is older and huge—sprawling. We taxied from our runway for maybe 4 miles before pulling into our gate! And then the only way to get between concourses is to walk. But, even at 6 AM, Houston airport is a busy place. It is the base for Continental (now merged with United), so it gets a lot of activity.
